This workshop aims to introduce the Comprehensive System Revised (CS-R) and CHESSSS 2. The first day of the workshop focuses on theoretical issues. The historical and scientific context which led to the development of the CS-R will be briefly outlined as well as issues related to dimensional approaches, evidence base, factor analysis, and Rorschach norms. The changes introduced in administration, scoring, calculations and interpretation guidelines will then be presented with a special emphasis on CS-R interpretation, the semiological approach, the new 5 phase model, the validity and key features clusters, the normative approach, and the norm simulation technique. The second day of the workshop is dedicated to practice, with scoring sessions and training in the use of the computer program CHESSSS 2. The study of a clinical case will conclude the sessions.
